Opened in 2021 in Anguk-dong, the Seoul Museum of Craft Art (SeMoCA) is Korea's first public museum dedicated entirely to craft art, occupying the historic site of Andongbyeol Palace and the former Pungmoon Girls' High School. Its five exhibition buildings hold roughly 23,000 craft objects spanning the Goryeo dynasty to contemporary work, covering textiles, ceramics, lacquerware, metalwork and embroidery. The museum also runs a dedicated Children's Museum and a craft archive and library, and sits within walking distance of Bukchon Hanok Village and Gyeongbokgung Palace.
