Free, hands-on space by the MobilitätDigital initiative in Hall 6 of the Ladestraße: VR accident replays, AI avatars and an image-recognition challenge on data and AI in mobility.
Put on a VR headset and you watch the same traffic accident from several people's points of view, to see how the critical moment built up. A few steps on, you can test yourself against an AI at recognising images.
The room is a guest installation in Hall 6 of the Ladestraße, run by MobilitätDigital, a federal transport ministry initiative led by the acatech foundation. Its subject is who controls the data behind mobility and logistics. Two AI-generated avatars explain digital sovereignty, and other stations show data tools for finding accessible places, an AI that improves posture at work, and one that protects privacy in public space.
Entry is free through the Ladestraße outdoor area, and museum visitors can walk straight in from the Ladestraße exhibitions. It's open daily except Mondays until 31 December. Its organisers call it an interactive showroom, and it doubles as a venue for workshops and events.
