ADG-FAD shows standout graphic design and visual communication from the 56th ADG Laus Awards, including the Grand Laus, Young Talent and the Laus d'Or winners.
This year's top prize went to an advert for a DIY chain. For Hornbach's No Project Without Drama, HeimatTBWA\ built almost the whole set by hand, hired a 30-member choir and recorded an orchestral score in Berlin. All of it says what every half-built bookshelf already knows: there is always some drama.
The show is ADG-FAD's selection from the 56th ADG Laus, Spain's yearly awards for graphic design and visual communication. Out of 479 recognised projects, you get the Grand Laus, the student Young Talent prize and the Laus d'Or winners, from posters, books and packaging to identities for a winery and the Ajuntament. A separate space covers the honorary awards: Pilar Villuendas, who started out designing for unions and neighbourhood associations in the 1970s, and the publisher Editorial GG.
There is no single theme; the point is the range. Entry is free, in the Cub space, until 1 November. The Glòries entrance is closed for now: go in at Carrer d'Irena Sendler, 1.

Look for the Grand Laus film: a hand-built stage set, a 30-member choir and an orchestral score recorded in Berlin, all for a DIY store.

The Young Talent winner starts from braille to build typefaces meant to be touched, so blind readers get a font's character as well as its letters.

You want one artist's vision: this is an awards selection across dozens of studios and schools.
