Opened in 2022, the Heidi Horten Collection shows works amassed by collector Heidi Goëss-Horten, spanning Vienna around 1900, Expressionism, Surrealism, Pop Art and contemporary art. It occupies a remodelled former archducal chancellery in the Hanuschhof courtyard, between the State Opera, the Albertina and the Burggarten. Alongside the Klimt ⇄ Warhol collection display, it stages changing solo, cabinet and themed exhibitions, plus permanent artist interventions such as Markus Schinwald and Hans Kupelwieser's Tea Room.
