Palazzo Fortuny (Museo Fortuny)

The 15th-century Gothic Palazzo Pesaro Orfei on Campo San Beneto was the home and workshop of Spanish-born designer Mariano Fortuny from 1902 until his death in 1949, and has been a civic museum since 1975. The first floor preserves his house-studio with paintings, the famous pleated Delphos dresses, printed textiles and lamps, while the second floor shows his ateliers for etching, fabric printing, photography and theatre lighting, plus his library. The ground floor hosts temporary contemporary art exhibitions.
