Sweden's national maritime museum has occupied Ragnar Östberg's 1936 building on Djurgårdsbrunnsvägen since it opened. Highlights include the stern and cabin of Gustav III's pleasure yacht Amphion, one of Sweden's largest collections of figureheads, and the state collection of warship models. Temporary shows range from paddling culture to the 1944 sinking of the Gotland ferry S/S Hansa.
