The Museum of Ethnography holds around 220,000 objects from peoples across the world, from China, Korea and South and Southeast Asia to the Pacific, the Americas and Africa, with roots in 18th-century collections from New Sweden and Cook's voyages. Its 1980 building in the Museum Park at Gärdet shows long-running displays on Japan and North America's Northwest Coast, a family exhibition of world tales and rotating temporary shows. The park holds Zui-Ki-Tei, the Nordic region's only Japanese tea house. Part of the National Museums of World Culture; free for everyone under 19.
