iModerna Museet · Skeppsholmen
Around 100 works from 1970–2015: kaleidoscopic mirror mosaics, geometric sculptures, collages, rugs and her "Heartache Boxes".
The museum puts the mirror works in one line: "You become part of the art, and the art becomes part of you." Stand in front of one of the kaleidoscopic mirror mosaics and you are in the picture, whether you planned to be or not.
On the fourth floor are around 100 works made between 1970 and 2015. The mosaics and sculptural assemblages hang alongside collages, floral drawings, rugs and calligraphic works. Around 100 works from her years between Tehran and New York, 1970 to 2015: the kaleidoscopic mirror mosaics she is known for, geometric sculptures, collages, rugs and her Heartache Boxes.
