Opened on 19 April 2017, the Museum of the American Revolution sits two blocks from Independence Hall and tells the story of the Revolution through a collection of some 3,000 objects. Its core galleries move from colonial protest beneath a two-storey Liberty Tree replica to the War at Sea around a full-scale privateer ship, an Oneida Nation council scene and the founding of the nation. The visit culminates with General George Washington's original headquarters tent, revealed in an immersive theatre.
