The Boros Collection is Karen and Christian Boros's private collection of international contemporary art from 1990 to today, shown in changing multi-year presentations across roughly 3,000 square metres of a converted air-raid bunker. Built in 1943 to shelter Reichsbahn passengers, the bunker later served as a POW prison, a fruit store and a techno club before the Boros family bought it in 2003 and opened it as a gallery in 2008. Visits are by booked guided tour only, covering the art, the building's history and its architecture.
