The museum holds a near-complete collection of Rembrandt's etchings alongside prints by his teachers, pupils and contemporaries, shown in rotation in the gallery wing.

Several times a day, museum staff grind pigments into oil paint the seventeenth-century way and pull a print from a copper plate on the press in Rembrandt's etching room.
