Paolo Cirio: NUDIFY AI
An online commission in which Paolo Cirio investigates non-consensual AI-generated sexual imagery, turning 15,000 collected deepfakes into an anonymised visual database.

The evidence page opens on a row of eight search words: breast, buttock, cleavage, nipples, penis, semen, tongue, vagina. You click one and get a grid of cropped fragments, faces removed and colours inverted, cut from sexualised images that Grok, Elon Musk's AI model, generated in early 2026.
This is an online commission, not a gallery show. Paolo Cirio collected 15,000 images from Grok.com made around the time of the scandal. He used AI image detection to filter out faces, drop cartoons and anime, and flag sexual content, then checked the results by hand. The site publishes that method, an essay on what he calls generative AI violence, and a list of accusations against Grok and X. His findings are meant for organisations working on regulation and takedowns.
It is free and runs until 1 April 2027 at stop-ai-nudify.org, in the Jeu de Paume's online programme, so there is no room to walk into. The images are abstracted, but the subject is sexual abuse, including of children.
