Built for the 1900 Universal Exposition, the Grand Palais des Champs-Élysées is a Beaux-Arts and Art Nouveau landmark famed for its colossal barrel-vaulted glass roof. After a 466 million euro restoration, it fully reopened in 2025 with expanded Galeries Nationales for major exhibitions, a new children's science space, and more visitor capacity. Its monumental Nave hosts art fairs, fashion shows and performances (and staged 2024 Olympic events), while the west wing will see the return of the Palais de la Découverte science museum.
