The Padiglione d'Arte Contemporanea (PAC) is the City of Milan's venue for contemporary art, set on Via Palestro next to the Galleria d'Arte Moderna and facing the Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli. Designed by Ignazio Gardella, the light-filled pavilion has no permanent collection and instead hosts a rolling programme of major monographic exhibitions by international artists, alongside smaller Project Room shows. Its 2026-27 season includes Italy's first retrospective of Sheila Hicks and a major Doris Salcedo exhibition.
