The museum of the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo tells the story of Milan Cathedral through works removed from the building itself. Opened in 1953 inside Palazzo Reale and reopened in 2013 after a redesign by Guido Canali, its 26 rooms hold the Cathedral Treasure, marble statues, stained-glass windows, Gonzaga tapestries, a Tintoretto and the giant wooden Modellone. The ticket also covers the Gothic church of San Gottardo in Corte.
