The Danish Architecture Center (DAC) is Denmark's national centre for architecture, founded in 1985 and housed since 2018 in OMA's BLOX building on Copenhagen's waterfront. Its national gallery of architecture traces 1,000 years of Danish building and design, alongside changing exhibitions on cities and urban life. Visitors can also walk across a giant aerial map of Copenhagen, ride Carsten Höller's four-storey DAC Slide, and relax in the café with a rooftop terrace over the harbour.
