iBasler Papiermühle - Schweizerisches Museum für Papier, Schrift und Druck
The museum occupies a listed late medieval mill on the St. Alban canal, a paper mill since 1453 and a museum since 1980. Historic machines, a working paper workshop and a printing and bookbinding floor show how paper, writing and printing developed. Craftspeople work with original tools, and visitors can make paper and marbled paper themselves.
