Foam (Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam) is an internationally renowned photography museum housed in three adjoining 19th-century canal houses on the Keizersgracht. Since opening in 2001, it has become one of Europe's leading platforms for contemporary and documentary photography, mounting around four major exhibitions a year alongside its Foam Talent showcase for emerging image-makers. The museum also runs Foam Editions (a gallery of affordable prints), a bookshop, a library and a café, and publishes the quarterly Foam Magazine.
