The main site of the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich stands on Ausstellungsstrasse by the main station, in a listed building that is a key work of Swiss modernism. It stages temporary exhibitions on design, visual communication and craft, and shows posters from its collection and the Swiss Design Lounge. The museum grew out of the Kunstgewerbemuseum founded in 1875 and reopened the renovated building in 2018.

First solo show of Swiss textile designer Christoph Hefti: knotted carpets, patchwork, prints, ceramics, costumes and performance.

Interwar graphic design, typography and photography, with El Lissitzky, Cassandre, Jan Tschichold and Lucia Moholy.

48 posters from the museum's collection in a visual dialogue across 150 years of graphic trends and museum history.

A light-filled lounge where visitors try Swiss furniture classics and current designs and browse the museum's publications.
