Opened in 1999 within the Tokyo Opera City Tower complex, this gallery stages roughly four special exhibitions a year spanning painting, sculpture, photography, design, fashion and architecture. It also runs "project N", an ongoing solo-show series introducing emerging Japanese artists in the 4th-floor corridor, and periodically shows works from the Terada Collection of postwar Japanese art. The gallery sits alongside the Opera City Concert Hall in the same tower, a short walk from Shinjuku.
