Set aboard the legendary World War II aircraft carrier USS Intrepid on Manhattan's Hudson River, this museum tells the story of military, maritime, aviation and space history. Highlights include NASA's prototype space shuttle Enterprise, the supersonic British Airways Concorde, the guided-missile submarine Growler and more than two dozen restored aircraft on the flight deck. Interactive halls, oral histories and immersive exhibits bring the carrier's wartime, Cold War and Vietnam-era service to life.
