The Casa Azul is where Frida Kahlo was born, lived most of her life (later with Diego Rivera) and died. Opened as a museum in July 1958, with displays planned by the poet Carlos Pellicer, it keeps the couple's paintings, her studio and bedroom, ex-votos, folk art, pre-Hispanic sculpture, photographs and furniture. Tickets are sold online only and include entry to the Museo Diego Rivera-Anahuacalli.
