Copenhagen Contemporary (CC) is an international art centre for contemporary art housed in huge industrial halls on Refshaleøen, the former Burmeister & Wain shipyard island. It specialises in large-scale installation, film, performance and immersive art, staged in rotating exhibitions alongside James Turrell's permanent light installation Aftershock. CCreate, its hands-on creative space, invites families and visitors of all ages to make things themselves.
