The Gallerie dell'Accademia hold the finest collection of Venetian painting from the 14th to the 18th century, from Paolo Veneziano and Giovanni Bellini to Giorgione, Titian, Tintoretto, Veronese, Carpaccio, Canaletto and Tiepolo. The museum occupies the former Scuola Grande di Santa Maria della Carità, its church and the Lateran Canons' monastery at the foot of the Accademia Bridge in Dorsoduro. Highlights include Giorgione's Tempest, Titian's final Pietà, Veronese's vast Feast in the House of Levi and Carpaccio's St Ursula cycle, while the drawings cabinet keeps Leonardo's Vitruvian Man.
