Leeum Museum of Art is the Samsung Foundation of Culture's flagship museum in Hannam-dong, Seoul, opened in 2004. Its traditional-art wing, designed by Mario Botta, holds Korean ceramics, Buddhist sculpture and calligraphy including several National Treasures, while the modern and contemporary wing, designed by Jean Nouvel and Rem Koolhaas, shows 20th-century and current Korean and international art. The museum also stages major loan exhibitions and maintains outdoor grounds, including a sculpture garden by Gabriel Orozco.
