Hangaram Art Museum is the main visual-art venue of the Seoul Arts Center complex, opened in 1990 in a distinctive concrete-and-glass building with a skylight ceiling system. It normally runs six exhibition halls hosting around 50 touring and juried exhibitions a year, from old-master retrospectives to contemporary art. As of 2026, Exhibition Halls 1–6 are closed for a remodeling project that began in October 2025, with only Hall 7 currently open to the public and no announced reopening date for the rest of the building.
