Opened in 2013 in Nowon-gu, Buk-Seoul Museum of Art is the largest branch of the Seoul Museum of Art (SeMA) and a leading venue for contemporary art in the city's northeast. Its multi-level galleries, auditorium, studios, café and art library host experimental exhibitions and interdisciplinary public programs, including a dedicated Children's Gallery. The museum works closely with the surrounding area's many art universities, emerging artists and local residents to develop new forms of exhibition and learning.
