The Musée Rodin presents the work of sculptor Auguste Rodin in the Hôtel Biron, an elegant 18th-century mansion where the artist kept his studio before gifting his collection to the French state in 1916. Galleries and a three-hectare sculpture garden display masterpieces including The Thinker, The Kiss, The Gates of Hell and The Burghers of Calais. The museum also holds the world's largest collection of works by Camille Claudel, Rodin's pupil and collaborator, alongside thousands of drawings, photographs and antiquities.
