Museo Dolores Olmedo

Opened in 1994 in collector Dolores Olmedo's former home, the hacienda of La Noria in Xochimilco, the museum holds the largest collection of works by Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo, alongside pieces by Angelina Beloff and Pablo O'Higgins. Pre-Hispanic, colonial and Mexican folk art round out the collection, set among gardens with peacocks and xoloitzcuintle dogs. After closing in 2020 for restoration, it reopened on 30 May 2026 with new galleries and Olmedo's own house open to visitors.
