The GRAMMY Museum is an interactive museum devoted to the history and cultural impact of music and the GRAMMY Awards, opened in December 2008 in the L.A. LIVE entertainment complex in Downtown Los Angeles. Across four floors, visitors explore touch-screen exhibits on music genres and history, try soundproof recording and remix booths, and view stage-worn costumes, handwritten lyrics, and instruments from GRAMMY-winning and nominated artists. Rotating exhibits spotlight individual artists alongside a changing lineup of public programs, film screenings, and live performances in its onsite theater.
