iThe Kunstverein in Hamburg is a non-profit association devoted to contemporary art, founded in 1817 and the second oldest Kunstverein in Germany. It has been based at Klosterwall 23 since 1993, in the former Markthalle. The programme brings changing solo and group exhibitions, a project space in residence and talks, and every Thursday at 5 pm there is a public tour.

Nandi Loaf's first institutional solo show, an immersive evening of performance and social choreography in the Hanne Darboven Stiftung villa.

Archive material, photographs and the 1980 slide show Kostbare Sekunden revisit the Hamburg artist Angelika Oehms (1949 to 1986).

The first institutional survey of Karen Kilimnik in Germany in over 25 years, with oil paintings, works on paper and mises-en-scène.
Annual editions show: works by artists from the recent programme, including Karen Kilimnik, Nandi Loaf, Janice Kerbel and Tobias Zielony.
