iGrand Egyptian Museum · Giza
Two of the world's oldest intact vessels — ancient solar barques of Pharaoh Khufu, dating to around 2500 BC — housed in a dedicated museum within the GEM complex. The larger boat measures 43.4 metres, assembled from 1,224 cedar planks, and was relocated from Giza to the Grand Egyptian Museum in 2021 after decades in the original Solar Boat Museum beside the Great Pyramid.
