The Museum of Natural Sciences is the public face of the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences, beside Leopold Park near the European institutions. Its Dinosaur Gallery shows about thirty Iguanodon skeletons found in a Belgian coal mine in the 19th century. Other permanent galleries cover human evolution, the living planet and minerals, and a temporary exhibition changes each year.

Over 3,000 m² of dinosaurs, with the Bernissart Iguanodon skeletons, Ben the Plateosaurus and a Stan T. rex replica.

About 850 specimens, from giraffes to aphids, with hands-on discovery areas on biodiversity and climate change.

Human evolution as a branching story across 25 species, with life-size reconstructions of Lucy, Toumaï and the Belgian Spy Neanderthal.
