iThe AfricaMuseum holds collections on Central Africa, centred on Congo, in a 1910 building set in a park in Tervuren, about 15 km east of central Brussels. It was founded by King Leopold II and reopened in December 2018 after a renovation that more than doubled the exhibition space and reframed the displays around Belgium's colonial history. The AFROPEA gallery pairs a permanent display on Afro-descendant communities in Belgium with a yearly changing installation.

Installation by sculptor and spoken word artist Dieex Bitegets in the AFROPEA gallery, pairing plaster and bronze sculptures with poetry.

Photographer Maggy Dago presents ten portraits of Afro-European women with personal testimonies on racism and sexism, framed as a femmage.
