Museu Blau is the main venue of the Museu de Ciències Naturals de Barcelona, opened in 2011 in the striking blue Fòrum building in Parc del Fòrum. Its permanent exhibition, Planet Life, tells the history of the Earth and of life and shows the museum's natural science collections, with hands-on tables of objects visitors can touch. A fin whale skeleton greets visitors at the entrance, and temporary shows cover current topics in the natural sciences.
