Musée associatif indépendant consacré aux techniques secrètes, à l'histoire et aux enjeux contemporains du renseignement et de l'espionnage. Sa collection de plus de 7 000 objets, reconnue par le Guinness des records — dont un millier est exposé —, comprend une machine Enigma japonaise à quatre rotors, des débris de l'avion espion U-2 de Francis Gary Powers, une caméra de boutonnière du KGB et l'Aston Martin DB5 de Goldfinger. Inauguré à Penn Quarter en 2002, le musée a emménagé en 2019 dans un bâtiment conçu sur mesure par Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners à L'Enfant Plaza, où les visiteurs endossent une fausse identité pour mettre leurs aptitudes d'agent secret à l'épreuve à travers les salles.
