A Albertina Modern é o segundo espaço da Albertina em Viena, inaugurado em 2020 no Künstlerhaus historicista na Karlsplatz — edifício erguido em 1865, restaurado e ampliado entre 2017 e 2020. Com base num acervo de mais de 60.000 obras de cerca de 5.000 artistas, incluindo a Essl Collection, apresenta grandes exposições temporárias de arte moderna e contemporânea em mais de 2.000 m². A arte austríaca assume um papel de destaque, com núcleos expressivos dedicados a Maria Lassnig, Franz West, Erwin Wurm e VALIE EXPORT, a par de nomes internacionais como Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein e Anselm Kiefer.
