Le Belvedere 21 est l'espace dédié à l'art contemporain du Belvedere. Il prend ses quartiers dans le pavillon moderniste conçu par Karl Schwanzer pour l'Expo 58 de Bruxelles, puis réédifié à Vienne en 1962 pour accueillir le Museum of the 20th Century. Restauré par Adolf Krischanitz, il a rouvert ses portes en 2011 (d'abord sous le nom de 21er Haus) et propose des expositions temporaires, la salle de projection Blickle Kino ainsi que le fonds du sculpteur Fritz Wotruba. Son jardin de sculptures, situé à deux pas du Schweizergarten, est accessible gratuitement.
