Casa Fernando Pessoa occupe l’immeuble où le grand poète moderniste portugais a vécu de 1920 jusqu’à sa mort, en 1935, et qui a ouvert ses portes au public en 1993 sous la forme d’une « maison de la poésie ». Son exposition permanente, répartie sur trois étages, présente les hétéronymes de Pessoa, montre le portrait du poète par Almada Negreiros, reconstitue son appartement et expose sa bibliothèque personnelle, classée Trésor national. Un espace d’exposition temporaire, une bibliothèque publique consacrée à la poésie et un programme régulier de lectures et de manifestations complètent la visite.
