Le musée national d’histoire naturelle et des sciences de l’Université de Lisbonne occupe l’ancienne Escola Politécnica, Rua da Escola Politécnica, à côté du Jardin botanique de Lisbonne. Ses collections, réunies sur plus de 250 ans, couvrent la zoologie, l’anthropologie, la géologie, la botanique et l’histoire des sciences. Parmi les points forts figurent le Laboratorio Chimico du XIXe siècle, restauré, et son amphithéâtre, les fossiles d’Allosaurus de l’exposition Entre Dinossáurios, une exposition historique consacrée à la physique, à découvrir par la pratique, ainsi qu’un programme renouvelé d’expositions temporaires.
