Inaugurada em junho de 2023, após um processo de construção que se prolongou por quase duas décadas, a Galería de las Colecciones Reales apresenta parte da coleção real de 155 000 peças do Patrimonio Nacional, com obras que vão do século XII ao XIX. Revestido de granito e integrado na encosta abaixo do Royal Palace, na Cuesta de la Vega, o edifício reúne pinturas de Velázquez, Caravaggio e Ticiano, além de armaduras reais, tapeçarias e carruagens cerimoniais. Situa-se junto ao Royal Palace e à Almudena Cathedral, na Plaza de la Armería; o bilhete combinado, que inclui o Palace e a Gallery, custa 24 € (12 € com desconto).
