O Kunstgewerbemuseum (Museu de Artes Decorativas) dos Staatliche Museen zu Berlin reúne artes aplicadas europeias desde a Idade Média até à atualidade, incluindo pratas renascentistas do conselho municipal de Lüneburg, faianças barrocas, porcelana de Meissen, uma galeria de moda que abrange 150 anos e uma coleção de design que vai dos clássicos da Bauhaus aos dias de hoje. O seu edifício no Kulturforum, projetado por Rolf Gutbrod, foi concluído em 1985 e reaberto após renovação em novembro de 2014. A coleção medieval, centrada no Guelph Treasure, encontra-se em fase de remontagem numa sala redesenhada e não está acessível ao público no momento. Um segundo polo apresenta interiores renascentistas, barrocos e rococó no Köpenick Palace, no sudeste da cidade.
