O Bröhan-Museum nasceu da coleção particular do empresário Karl H. Bröhan, exibida pela primeira vez na sua residência em Dahlem, em 1973. Em 1983, o acervo foi transferido para um antigo edifício militar integrado no conjunto do Schloss Charlottenburg, tornando-se museu estatal de Berlim em 1994. O seu acervo de Art Nouveau, de relevância internacional, inclui mobiliário de Hector Guimard e Louis Majorelle, porcelana de Meissen, Sèvres e Royal Copenhagen, além de obras em vidro de Émile Gallé e Daum. O design Art Déco e funcionalista dos anos 1920 e 1930, juntamente com pinturas da Berliner Secession, completam a coleção. O museu prepara-se atualmente para uma renovação integral, com início previsto para a primavera de 2027.
