Inaugurée en 2022, la Heidi Horten Collection présente les œuvres rassemblées par la collectionneuse Heidi Goëss-Horten, embrassant la Vienne de 1900, l’expressionnisme, le surréalisme, le pop art et la création contemporaine. Elle est installée dans l’ancienne chancellerie archiducale réaménagée de la cour du Hanuschhof, entre le Staatsoper, l’Albertina et le Burggarten. En parallèle de l’accrochage permanent Klimt ⇄ Warhol, le musée propose des expositions monographiques, thématiques ou en cabinet temporaires, ainsi que des interventions artistiques permanentes signées notamment Markus Schinwald et le salon de thé de Hans Kupelwieser (Tea Room).
