El centro de documentación Topography of Terror se alza sobre el emplazamiento de la antigua sede central de la Gestapo, la dirección de las SS del Reich y la Oficina Principal de Seguridad del Reich en Prinz-Albrecht-Straße. Su exposición permanente documenta el aparato policial y de las SS, así como los crímenes cometidos en toda Europa, mientras que un recorrido al aire libre y una trinchera expositiva junto a los muros desenterrados de los sótanos muestran la historia del recinto y del Berlin bajo el régimen nazi. El lugar conserva también uno de los tramos más largos que aún quedan en pie del Berlin Wall. La entrada es gratuita.
