El gran museo de la tecnología de Berlín ocupa antiguos depósitos de locomotoras y una moderna ampliación en Kreuzberg, donde reúne trenes históricos, más de 40 aeronaves, pabellones dedicados a la navegación y salas sobre imprenta, informática o fabricación de cerveza, entre otras disciplinas. El ferrocarril fue su núcleo fundacional; las secciones de aviación y navegación marítima se inauguraron en 2003. La entrada incluye también el centro interactivo Science Center Spectrum. Las salas de fotografía, química y farmacia en la Beamtenhaus permanecen cerradas por reformas hasta nuevo aviso.
