O MoMA PS1 é uma das mais antigas e maiores instituições sem fins lucrativos de arte contemporânea dos Estados Unidos, fundada em 1971 por Alanna Heiss num antigo edifício de escola pública em Long Island City, Queens. Afiliado ao Museum of Modern Art desde 2000, o museu promove trabalhos experimentais, emergentes e transgressores ao longo das galerias labirínticas, escadarias e do porão do seu histórico edifício escolar de tijolos. É conhecido pela recorrente mostra Greater New York, dedicada a artistas locais, pela série de música de verão Warm Up e pela instalação permanente Meeting Skyspace, de James Turrell. Desde janeiro de 2026, a entrada é gratuita para todos.
