Os Harvard Art Museums reúnem três instituições distintas sob o mesmo teto em Cambridge: o Fogg Museum, de grande destaque na arte europeia e norte-americana; o Busch-Reisinger Museum, dedicado à arte dos países de língua alemã; e o Arthur M. Sackler Museum, que abriga coleções asiáticas, mediterrâneas e islâmicas. A renovação de 2014, assinada por Renzo Piano, envolveu o edifício neogeorgiano de 1927 em uma cúpula de vidro que banha de luz natural os seis andares até o Calderwood Courtyard e seus arcos em travertino. O acervo conjunto soma cerca de 250.000 peças, desde o célebre autorretrato de Van Gogh dedicado a Paul Gauguin e os impressionistas do legado Wertheim até bronzes da Antiguidade e jades chineses. Centros de estudos e laboratórios de conservação com paredes de vidro ladeiam as galerias públicas, e o acesso é gratuito para todos os visitantes desde junho de 2023.
