Inaugurato nell’ottobre 2023 all’interno del Centro Cultural de Belém, MAC/CCB ha preso il posto del Museu Coleção Berardo ed è il più grande museo di arte moderna e contemporanea di Lisbona. Le esposizioni della collezione attingono alle collezioni Berardo, Ellipse, Teixeira de Freitas e dello Stato portoghese, ripercorrendo l’arte del XX secolo dalle prime avanguardie fino a oggi. A queste si affiancano un intenso programma di mostre temporanee e un Architecture Centre dedicato agli artisti contemporanei e all’architettura portoghese e internazionale.
