Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum

Construite en 1933 pour servir de résidence tokyoïte au prince Asaka Yasuhiko, cette demeure Art déco a été conçue en collaboration avec l’artiste français Henri Rapin et ornée de verreries décoratives de René Lalique. Après avoir accueilli la résidence du Premier ministre, puis une maison d’hôtes destinée aux invités de l’État, elle a ouvert ses portes en tant que musée en 1983. Une rénovation menée en 2014 a ajouté une annexe moderne conçue avec le photographe Hiroshi Sugimoto. Le domaine comprend également un jardin japonais abritant une maison de thé datant de 1936 et des sculptures en plein air.
